I finally got a solid game plan of how I'll be installing my plate to install my gauges. You will see from the pics that I've monted the plate between the outer trim and the inner trim (cubby hole itself). When you seperate the two and insert the plate just bolt it back down which basically pinches the plate in place. It wont come out for I tried so slide it around to make it fit perfect and it wouldnt budge. Had to loosen it up to slide around.
I plan to use two gauges now (oil pressure and water temp) for I couldn't get past just having one gauge there. Plus a water temp is a lot more accurate than stock. I'm also going to try and place the gauges a bit lower on the plate so in the future I'll be able to add a scan tool gauge or toggle switches if needed. Now I'm waitng on my gauges so I'll know how big to cut the holes in the plate then I'm going to spray it flat black. Stay tuned. ![]() ![]() Just for jokes
