Mod day @ Mike the powdercoaters house. Picture taken after the slip n slide incident....
http://www.the370z.com/members/daisu...ters-house.jpg

Note how in all these pictures, despite the crap quality, despite the bad light, you can see how bad the bumpers were.

So in that regard, huge props to my dealership, Jerry and Mark for helping me get this fixed.

Nice Pics!

fairladyZ34 10-16-2010 11:12 PM

looks good bro

ThoriumHotdog 10-16-2010 11:29 PM

Sounds pretty good. I definitely want to see more pics especially the engine bay.

As for the pulley, this may be a stupid question, but wouldn't powdercoating them adversely affect the performance? I always thought they were finely balanced. Could be wrong but I thought I'd ask.

I dont believe it would an adverse affect. other than probably get dirtier...

Jquad 10-17-2010 11:42 PM

Good to know. :) More pics please. I want to see these powdercoated items in action. I'm also considering the Persimmon interior but I haven't seen it in person. Is it really as orange-ish as it is in pictures?

daisuke149 10-18-2010 07:31 AM

Theres no cf on the car. Its all painted gloss black by s paint shop

Thr persimmon isnt really orange orange. It stands oit tho pretty good. U should go see it in person is always thr best thing

And with everything i will def post up some pics of the new stuff

2theextreme 10-18-2010 09:20 AM

tweba09 10-18-2010 11:36 AM

How did you get your bumpers and side skirts repainted under warranty? Color not matching?

daisuke149 10-18-2010 11:53 AM

and James dont you say it also!

Chris_1 10-18-2010 12:39 PM

If it matters I have the new 6 spoke concave that the customer backed out of in 19", just not as aggressive for the same price. We gotta move them fast so we can refund this guy, if you are interested let me know.

daisuke149 10-18-2010 12:42 PM

the bronze one? Sorry bro but bronze is not a color choice of mine. Im really leaning towards only a gloss black with maybe some shiny/ black chrome type lip.

I will when I get a chance. I'm sort of limited in movement right now. :)

Chris_1 10-18-2010 03:33 PM

DOnt worry, I know you want the mesh. I am holding out, and waiting on you. They are thinking of rebuilding the wheels, but I am holding them off for you.

we were at Gwinnet Place Nissan service lane :-D

also added some more info/shots to the first post in regards to a sort of.. timeline.

370Z JT 10-20-2010 09:47 PM

I think my bumpers were more off then yours before my respray.

daisuke149 10-20-2010 09:48 PM

im sure there were some bad ones out there. although mine were worse than any other pearl white i saw. Actually it was the rear bumper that was just horrid. The pictures dont really shot it as much but i would say the bumper came from a yellow 370z.
