yeah pretty much all the best japanese spots are either in Gardena, Torrance or LA...you can go crazy over here...they even have "hostess bars" here if your in to that sort of stuff..hahah!

daisuke149 11-16-2010 03:07 PM

you may have to explain that to me..

wishihadnav 11-16-2010 03:17 PM

its a carry over from Asia...lots of them in Japan and Korea...its basically a bar for men only..a "hostess" will sit and keep you and your buddy's company all night long...usually just drinking and karaoke..

wishihadnav 11-16-2010 03:17 PM

..and typically they're scantilly clad and very friendly..lol..

wishihadnav 11-16-2010 03:20 PM

we even have lots of izakaya's in this area...pretty cool..

daisuke149 11-16-2010 03:24 PM

sounds interesting. i'll have to investigate at some point!

wishihadnav 11-16-2010 03:29 PM

haha...yes you do!

I need to find some good noodle shops in Atlanta.

Hey check out Umado in Suwanee, it's the only place me and my wife would go for killer Japnese ramen. Also, for $1 extra you get to have unlimited noodles!! I usually eat 3 bowls when I go,

Btw, there is a place where girls would come sing and sit with you here in ATL, it's called Karaoke Melody on Buford Hwy!

Cheers~

daisuke149 12-23-2010 04:08 PM

Just a quick update. On Saturday, had my new suspension put in!

Tein Monoflex
SPC Front & Rear Camber Arms
Stillen Front & Rear Swar bars

I will have more pics at a later time when I get my new wheels and rotors etc. Currently running some awful looking temporary wheels so not gonna show those!

Also Thanks to Z1 again for doing a great job at the install!

The new Stillen Front & Rear Swar bar version is in red? First I thought they are Eibach. Looking good though.

yeah its red. nicely packed and everything! Josh had sent it out to z1 just for (at least i'd like to think so)

ProfessorDave 12-23-2010 05:40 PM

I really like the tinted taillights and 3rd brake light. So much red going on back there on a stock PW Z! The car looks great!

370Z JT 12-23-2010 07:36 PM

Nice. What wheels you got coming or is it top secret? Lol

Not really a secret.. ive been trying to tell everyone i know! :p

but at the same time I dont have any pictures of it soo i cant really show it on here : ( but when it gets here.. sure will.

Chris_1 12-24-2010 12:51 AM

Forged Specialties is taking care of his wheel needs, BIG TIME too lol.

CrownR426 12-24-2010 01:40 AM

Very nice update!
I am saving up to go the same way.
I would also get the EDFC since it's tein.
You can adjust the front and rears whatever setting you like inside your car!
I wouldnt want to go through the trouble of setting my suspension different levels.

raybuck 01-11-2011 12:49 AM

I've gotta see the car in person on coilovers!

Bster 01-11-2011 01:27 AM

Hi daisuke149,

Just wondering why did you feel a need for swaybars? I've got the Monoflex on right now, and the car is already quite flat around the corners.

I'm still tempted to get sway bars but since the car is already quite balanced, it's not on my "most needed to-do" list.

I'm keen to hear your opinions!

I didnt get them at the time as a "need" item, but more as a I had the opportunity and got them.

but i can tell you with the monoflex and sways and everything being setup by the guys at z1 the car rides amazing. Flat is the right word to use.

kevr6 01-11-2011 11:42 AM

Dai, I'd like a ride in your vehicle at some point! I've been waiting on trying another set of coilovers since my first set was so bad. I feel the time is near to give it another whirl. I was sold on the KW products but curious on how you are doing with your choice!

daisuke149 01-11-2011 12:01 PM

yup anytime that its not ice and snow outside! :p

atl370z 01-11-2011 12:58 PM

Awesome dai, can't wait to see your car with the new set of wheels!!

I need to ride in both of you guys cars then. I'm leaning towards the BC ER coilovers.

MACSIMIZER 03-29-2011 05:56 AM

Saw this car in person yesterday at Z1, looks and sounds great. Thanks for all the info. I will try to make it to next years meet.

birdmanx1 03-29-2011 07:31 AM

Great car, color choice & excellent build Daisuke, very nice indeed. DUH winning shot below, I like that a lot. Did you feel any drastic gains from the M370 after tuning? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts about it :tiphat:

Def man, was good to meet you. When you are ready for that exhaust, give Z1 a call.

Well, The Dyno showed pretty good gains for me. Some have seen better / worse.

But in terms of feel, it does feel better at 3k+ rpm's. Theres a nicer surge than there was before. I am actually wanting to get a tune after i get one or 2 more mods in.
