The HKS are good coilovers. Definitely a good choice. But if you are saying you are kind of a sissy, those are not the coilovers for you since they come with relatively high spring rates. The only coilovers I would recommend for someone who likes to keep a comfortable ride are the KW V3's. I'm sorry if I keep sounding like a fanboy, but these things have more than proven their worth to me.

Driveshaft rattle? Are you talking about clutch shudder on engagement? Nah, it shouldnt be that bad.

Lightening? Sure, get rid of as much unsprung weight as you can (weight not supported by the suspension. e.g. Wheels and brake rotors). Then take as much weight as you can from the front of the car, preferably things that are higher up. Then take weight off the rear. The car has a natural front heavy bias, which you want to try and lessen if possible...however its much easier to quickly remove weight from the rear.

I'd give you more info, but you don't own the car yet and you seem to not be too sure of what you want. You say you are a sissy and want comfort, but you want coilovers and a lighter car? Those two things don't come without a cost that is immediately deducted from the comfort column.

I want to help, but you should probably have the car first before you worry about these things..
