I currently have a built in nav system installed on my 350, but once i purchase my 370 I want to get the base model so that i can transfer it over. I believe it will be a much cleaner look than actually buying the touring/nav package. Just my thoughts.

Yes! I'm even more excited to see how it will look. I ended up getting the DNX6140 with Sirius and back up cam. I will def show you pics once I get it installed.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "transfer it over" because it's going to be a HUGE pain in the butt to transfer your OEM 350Z nav to 370Z. I'm not even sure if it's possible! Aftermarket is the way to go if you're going to buy base. But if you are set on touring, then OEM nav is a bargain ($1600).

Yes, they do. I have to say, I underestimated these gauges and thought they won't look good. But I was dead wrong. One of the best gauges till date. I am still a bit upset for not getting a small digital speedometer on the left hand side.

Sorry for the confusion, i meant that i have an aftermarket pioneer navigation system installed on my 350 and i want to transfer that over to my 370 which im hoping to buy in the next month or too.

And I have found a member that has already done it with the back up cam and it looks great! *see link

Looking good!

WOW....nice job! What products (brand/type) did you use?

BTW.....my tint started curling on the one window as you said might happen. I even gave it a couple of extra days to cure before I rolled them down.

I called Ryan from SOG and he said not a problem....bring it in and they'll take care of it. He said that they have only done a handful of 370s so far and which he has had to redo 2 of them. It's that damn window mechanism...grrrr.....haha.

LiquidZ 07-27-2009 09:13 AM

Nice touch on the door handles and tips. I'll definitely consider it.

MightyBobo 07-27-2009 10:07 AM

I always polish my tips every wash. Its far too easy :).

Personally, I use the Mothers Mag polish/shine stuff in the little white tin, and a microfiber cloth that will never ever touch the paint or anything else on the car for that matter. Works great, with minimal scrubbing. Its surprising how much of that exhaust likes to cake up on the bottom of the tips...

just a generic metal polisher from PepBoys. I have noticed the shine DOESN'T last too long but it's def better than leaving as is.

SOG is awesome. I think My Z is one of the two that had to be redone. VERY helpful and redid my windows WITHOUT asking a single question! They just got themselves a LIFETIME customer  .

Today morning I parked my car ALL THE WAY TO THE END to avoid any door dings. When I come back this is what I see :shakes head: . Not only this guy parks in an illegal spot (there should be no parking to the right of my car), he parked 6" from my Z. There's no way in hel* you can get out without putting a ding on my car. I officially hate benz owners now

Same exact thing happened to me today except it was an SUV, I was pretty pissed. I checked the car very carefully for marks but it was dark so it was impossible to be 100% thorough. Luckily I didn't find anything or that damn SUV was in for some hurt.

Matt (bigaudiofanat) did the soldering and install. It's VERY easy to do Crown. Are you interested? The fit and finish of the product is great.

That's exactly what I did too. Checked very carefully for dents. I am gonna go make some copies of this picture and keep it in my car :shakes head:
