Right now, anything other than OEM will make me happy. I need a change

dirTy_shoeZ 10-19-2011 02:14 AM

Haha, I still like these wheels ALOT tho :). U don't know what the offsets of yours are?

Boost_lee 10-19-2011 02:23 AM

19x9.5 +20
19x10.5 +22...probably gonna keep my spacer and try a -3

Gotta see how it looks on springs though

God-Speed 10-19-2011 09:54 PM

I am sure that they are going to look nice. Can't wait to see how good they look.

Flushnismo 10-19-2011 11:10 PM

You could do a 5mm spacer up front and a 15 or 20 in the back and they would be flush.

ZForce 10-19-2011 11:53 PM

Noice wheels, cant wait to see them mounted.

Kingbaby 10-20-2011 12:07 AM

tastefully modded...can't knock it

lol me too. I think for street use they're fine. I'll have the RAYS or stock 18s for any type of track use or abuse ;)

I might do a 5mm, but I I want to see how it looks with no spacer first. The rears I can play with, I have quite a few sets of spacers laying around now lol.

Thanks for the pics!
They look good man.
I bet you can't wait to get them on.

Spec Jay 10-20-2011 06:38 PM

gonna look gooood!
i was thinking about buying a set of varrstoens to roll around on for whatever.

btw, i'm running 10.5 -3 with a 285 ;) you'll probally want to run a 5mm up front to even it up though.

Thanks Jay, thats exactly why I got them. No worries about curbing/bending these. Plus it will help me pick the fitment and wheel style in the future

With the 285, which tire is that on? I remember you posting that some of your sets ran wider than others. And -3 might be too aggressive at my drop height, but we'll see. I have 25mm, 20mm, 15mm, 8mm, and 5mm spacers in the garage...I'm sure I'll find something that works :bowrofl:

Ron 10-21-2011 12:54 PM

GET THEM WHEELS MOUNTED NOW!

Boost_lee 10-23-2011 08:39 PM

I didn't like them much at first, but after a good wash n tire shine, they grew on me :)

Few fitment pics, then some shots with the wheels

little poke on the rear...may or may not change the spacer

Thanks Ryan. SP3's would have been the wheel I wanted, but I really don't have the budget for that. These fit the bill well...for the meantime haha

Yep 25 in the rear. Debating on going down to a 20.

I wish I had the balls to sell them...it would definitely help front the bill for a motor.

Ron 10-23-2011 11:01 PM

I like! What are the tire sizes? And yes, it needs more low :D

Flushnismo 10-23-2011 11:12 PM

...coilover time lol

thetaste 10-24-2011 08:47 AM

Car looks great. The wheels were a nice addition.

RCZ 10-24-2011 10:08 AM

Holy ****, that looks amazing. I don't like it when wheels poke out of the fenders, but god damn your car just keeps getting better and better bro. Nice choice on wheel style and color.

Juruki 10-24-2011 10:23 AM

looks great man! great choice of wheels
I like a little poke

dirTy_shoeZ 10-24-2011 11:34 AM

m4a1mustang 10-24-2011 11:39 AM

Holy crap your car looks awesome, man. Probably the nicest Monterrey Blue I've ever seen.

Alchemy 10-24-2011 12:05 PM

Lookin damn good boost!!!

Raizon 10-24-2011 01:23 PM

Damn...it looks good. I like.

Thought it was going to look weird at first but after mounting them on, it works real well.

Flushnismo 10-24-2011 01:46 PM

Is it just me or do the tires look really fat?

Calvin 10-24-2011 04:07 PM

nice =)

slightly, more so in the rear.

Boost_lee 10-24-2011 06:23 PM

Thanks for the compliments :D I was iffy too, but I'm happy with the outcome. I wanted to try something different on the wheel style, luckily it worked. Call me cheap, I don't care, I like them lol

mike- I might not make the ccm meet, not sure yet. I have to go to a wedding that day.

Tires do look fatter, I don't think the oem tires stretch very well

More expensive is not always better. Boost, this is an example of that!!
