If you were just getting a lip, having it painted black isn't bad but once you add silver sides and rears. The front will appear higher than the sides and that's not good.

Sounds like an idea. The lip I may go with is a 3 piece? So the sides could be painted silver and the center piece matte to match the center fang area like you said.
