Mike, do you know how much the 18 and 19 inch Forgestars weigh?

Depends on the width and offset. For the 370Z the 19s come in around 25 lbs. each and the 18s come in around 19 or 20 lbs. each, but like I said, exact weight will depend on width and offset.

Here's a link to the thread I made about my time attack this past weekend!

Ok so the time attack is over and there is a thread about that linked above. Next up is SEMA and then a week after SEMA is the Redline Time Attack Finals, so there is a lot going on here this month to have the car ready for both.

First, the car is already at Kognition Design for a new dry carbon rear wing. There is a separate thread about it here...

http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...velopment.html

Once I get it back I will do my best to get it ready for SEMA which will include...
- NST Pulley Kit
- BRIDE Seats
- NRG Steering Wheel/Quick Release/Hub
- Challenge Brake Lines
- GTSPEC Fender Braces Test Fit
- GTSPEC Rear Subframe Brace Test Fit
- SPL Parts Rear Traction Arms
And whatever else I can get before SEMA. There are a bunch of things that are up in the air that I am waiting on from different companies that they are trying to finish and get to me in time to have on my car for SEMA. Not even going to say what they are though until they are on their way :).

Aside from that, still have to do my post race maintenance...
- Change diff fluid
- Change oil
- Re-Set Alignment
- Re-Install trunk area plastics/spare/tools
- De-sticker

And somewhere in between all of that and SEMA, which is only about 4 weeks away, I have to get the car into a body shop to fill the holes the stock spoiler left and re-paint the hatch. I will probably have them paint a few other things like the door handles, rear bumper piece with the butt hole, and maybe mirrors and the front fang area. Oh and I got to take it into 702 Graphics for a day for them to do a half-wrap decal design on it.

Man I have a lot to do since my car probably wont even be back from Kognition until the weekend of the 11th. Then there will only be two weeks to get all of that done. :(

Looks like a busy month again for you, which bride seats are you going with?
Also, can you do a test/measurement if you remember. See if you gain any clearance in the head with the seats you add and how much it is. I assume you are going to use the attached slide rails?

Crazy busy month. I actually got pretty stressed out writing that last post lol. Our Project Mini Cooper is also going to SEMA so that adds a whole other bag of fun. :)

I am going with the Zeta III in all black with the BRIDE rails that everyone has been using. If I can remember I will get before and after headroom measurements, but I am warning everyone right now that I will probably be a wreck this whole month and might forget to take the time to do it lol.

BRIDE Zeta III seats/rails and SPL Parts traction arms showed up today! Now I just need my car back from Kognition with the new dry carbon wing so I can put them in :).

cool. what made you chose those ? I ended up going with momo mod 80 and Joe's disconnect... mine should be here by weekend. my first time buying a racing wheel, and didn't do a ton of research, so curious what you look for in a wheel and hub/disconnect

NRG was the only people I knew of that made a hub for the 370Z. According to them they are different from the 350Z. I also had their stuff on my old 350Z and loved the simplicity and easy of using their Gen2.5 disconnect. For the wheel, I tend to like the wheel as close to me as possible, to a certain extent, so I figured I would try with a deep dish style wheel first. If that puts it too close to me then I will switch to a regular wheel.

Little teaser shot of the pile of parts I have waiting for my car to get done with the Kognition wing development. :)

More to come in the following weeks.

And for those of you who haven't been following the Kognition Wing Development thread...

http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...velopment.html

Here is a photo of the design process. The real wing stands will be watter jetted aluminum and the wing, bases, and end plates dry carbon fiber...
