Berk has not rushed the production of this exhaust on their end and in return I will not rush the testing on my end even if a few people can't wait another day and get another exhaust. I am in the business of sales, but I am not a salesman....if that makes sense to anyone lol. My first passion is driving, my second is testing parts. Selling parts is just something I do so I can keep driving :D. Trust me, if a company were to hire me as a driver either for racing or testing, DDM would be gone in a heart beat.

That's why I go to you for parts ! :)

weeeeerd.

i just think ppl need to get off the computer for a little and do something else to occupy their times. geeez....waiting and watching for updates of something is like watching time tic.

there are plenty of other exhaust systems out on the market by now. if you're that impatient, go with one them and move on to the next item to obsess over....lol

Ok spent 2 1/2 hours on the dyno today trying to get a good signal read. Although its not perfect we were able to get it much better. The gaps in the graph are where the torque spikes are but you can pretty much fill in the gaps with your imagination as to what the graph would look like without them. As you can see the last three runs we did were all very consistent. The peak numbers weren't effected by the torque spikes.

Again this is a new baseline dyno in 110 degree heat with the stock intakes back on. Only power adding mods are the Berk HFCs.

A max of 284 in 110 degree heat with just HFCs isn't bad at all!

Berk Technology cat-back with H-Pipe is installed! Working on the sound clip video now. Sound is AMAZING. Install was easy, fitment was perfect. Butt dyno says big gains. Will try and schedule an actual dyno today as well. After I dyno with the H-Pipe, I will swap it for the X-Pipe and do sound clips and dyno again.

Yes it should be the same differential in the G37.

Here is the dyno for the Berk Cat-Back w/H-Pipe. 10whp and 5wtq above the highest baseline numbers. The X-Pipe will go on tomorrow and then we will dyno that. The X-Pipe is expected to produce more gains.

Normally I'd say +10RWHP for a CBE sounds good but is it just me but is only +10RWHP pretty week vs the +15-20 we are seeing with Stillen/F.I.? Is there a variable I'm not considering? I mean the baseline at 284RWHP was in similar conditions to the 294RWHP and may only account for a 1-2RWHP difference.

Yeah there are a few things to consider. First, the baseline was performed with high flow cats which free up a lot of the bottleneck in the exhaust already. If this exhaust were tested with the stock cats, the overall numbers would be lower but the gains would most likely be bigger (law of diminishing returns). Also consider that this is just one design we are testing. Berk is almost sure the X-Pipe will make more power than the H-Pipe. We will test the X-Pipe hopefully tomorrow afternoon.

+ not a fan of measuring peak HP gains... would rather see the chart... looks like you have solid gains all the way across... would be great to have them all on the same chart... good stuff, Mike, thanks for sharing
