Madwi is really addicted to begin with.

The Honda got its oil changed to Mobil1 Extended 0W20. Also got the wood splitter, riding lawn mower and the leaf blower gassed up and oils changed if needed. Thank the stars that everything fired up right away. By the third pull, everything was running.
Mounted the Rear diffuser with vhb tape. Had EW help line it up while clamping it in place. I was going to use body panel adhesive but it had hardened in the tube, and it was brand new. Fog light was wired up by EW and works well. Blends well with the diffuser.

Rusty 04-29-2018 06:44 PM

EW wanted to install the rear fog light on my Z in the worse way when he was here. :rofl2: The problem is, I have a Nismo, with a diff cooler. No place for it. :rofl2:

Did he also try to install LEDs everywhere? Map lights? reverse lights? :icon17:

We busted *** on member Leingod's car this weekend. We ended up installing side blades, rear diffuser, RJM clutch pedal, FI oil cooler, zspeed undertray, oil change, diff fluid change, transmission oil change, rear fog light, FI hfc and FI exhaust.
Car sounds and looks good though. Lein treated us to a great lunch at Perrin Brewery today before they headed back to New York.

I have to admit, I am sore as hell lol. It was a race against the clock and I am a pretty chill guy but I was feeling the crunch. We were still tweaking a few little things right before we headed to lunch and them hitting the road back home. :icon17:

Went to Zdayz this year and had a blast. The car drove great the whole way there and back. A couple of pics from the Dragon.

Bad news is on the way down there a rather large rock bounced under EW's car and then under mine. It hit pretty hard on the exhaust and I have an leak somewhere. F.I. exhaust should be here in June sometime so I might just say **** it until then.

Added a few more pics from the runs. I am back to looking at coilovers :icon17:

Yeah,
The car looks great but, what happened to the new front bumper?
Was really looking foreword to seeing it on and painted.

I am trying to make it work with the FI tow bar, intercooler, oil cooler lines ect.
Now that the car is back home, I can start taking it apart again, although it was really fun to drive and I missed it. I might just keep it the way it is until after the FI exhaust shows up and then start ripping into it again.

I also really, really want to order one of the SOHO oil catch can/engine coolant units. They are

Winter project, but Scott doesn't want to work in the garage in the winter time. That should motivated him to put some heat out there. :rofl2:

The way I justified the spending in my head for a new heater is that I spent waaaay more on the turbo kit so the heater can be added to the list of tools needed to install the kit during the winter. :icon17:

madwi 06-02-2018 01:41 PM

I dont know if I will actually wait until winter though, I am guessing late summer/early fall I will get a jump on it. I need to have contingency plans in place before I begin though. :icon17:
