If they are chipping its not a good powdercoat job. It shouldn't chip at all. I've got 4 sets of wheels I have powdercoated, 2 street sets and 2 track sets and I have one chip, and that is from a careless person I let borrow a set while I was powdercoating his wheels.

Bought them new that way.

to be perfectly honest, not much any more :)

I was planning on putting a good amount down on this car but Nissan gave me super low interest with zero down so I put much of it back into the car.

You know what bro... With selling the stock hood, stock wheels, brakes, Nismo exhaust etc... I'm not really out a terribly large amount of $. The stereo system was the only big out of pocket expense and Marco arranged a huge hook up deal on the paint so not too bad.

I'll sell a couple things to recover the rest, maybe the wife....HAHAHA Kidding!!!!!

Haha, I used to sell Aprilias, MVs and Ducatis. The RSV Factory was one tough beast to ride for more than about 15 minutes. My back would get pissed! Never mind my wrists.:shakes head:

Call me an idiot but we used to have a TL1000R Blue Board, much like this one. Guys were great and because of that I opened MotoExtreme. So many great stories from that chapter in my life. My right hand guy at work still has a prestine TLR and bought a ZX6R last week for the track.

I used to have 3 bikes in my office. Our CEO who happens to be like a brother to me begged me to get rid of them so I did. Bikes are sooo hard to kick! I think about riding all the time and am certain to get another one soon just to screw around with. If the Desmo keeps coming down in price then I may go that route, its a pretty amazing bike to ride, too bad it came out at the worst time it could of been introduced. Thing tanked in value!

First, pictures are not so great, my iPHONE is dying so look past that.

Two, Tires are dirty, came from the paint shop.

Now the good news! Rims are MUCH darker then they appear in the pictures which is great news!!! I wasnt sure about the Bronze but this is perfect.

Now that everything is so dark I feel I may of made a mistake with Black Brembo's but oh well. Could of pulled off red with how dark these are. Oh well, who gives a sh#$, Function over Form...

I just went with 19's, 20's are a bit too much for me and I wanted to make sure they had enough rubber.

Damn Moto, good choice in wheels and wheel color. Your car is going to turn out awesome. Try not to mish mash too many colors though, get a theme and run with it... matte black/carbon/red in the headlights/bronze/black brakes and TI lugnuts. (if I remember correctly) sounds like it might clash a bit.

I'm with you...Red is out other then the LED's which I'll never use anyway but for screwing around.

Flat Black, some gloss black, Bronze wheels, black brakes. Keeping it simple and stealth.

Going down to the paint shop as soon as I lock the building down for the holidays.

Thanks man. I'm kind of wishing I didnt put all the Audio crap in it now but at the same time I like the system. May need to figure that back out once the car is done, wasn't really planning on setting it up for the track but I suppose I could just add a quick release to pull it out on track day :)

I have those EXACT wheels from my G35 except that the rear is also a +22 :(... i really dont wanna run a 10mm spacer - but I might just try throwing those on for fun :)

Keeping my fingers crossed they fit ok but 10mm shouldn't be too bad.
