I just landed from Hong Kong about 2 hours ago, so damn tired! They made a few more changes to the scheme but its in the booth as we speak! I know I know...taking a while but worth the wait. Still need to install the brakes, smoke the tailights a little, shifter, shift know, carbon under the hood, coilovers, stock cats back on....geeez....thought I was done!

At least the rest is all a quick fix.

Walked out of a restaurant when I was there and this guy came buy, car sounded pretty wicked, wish I would of got some other shots. There was SO many nice cars out there.

We added gloss to the roof and a little on the rear hatch.

Hard to tell under the plastic but ITS SO CLOSE!

your gonna love it, it flows really well with the rest of the car! When they did mine, i also had them paint the top trim of the door so it matches the flow of the hatch.

Yeah, sorry for the teaser, my wife snapped that one.

And yes, you're right on the trim idea. Pretty much let them design the paint scheme. Just wanted all sheer black at first but they said it would look unfinished so I turned it over to them. Wish I would of had a CF hatch but no $$ left :)

OK, picked up the car tonight, added the carbon fiber sills and engine bay parts. Still a little touch up to do and still needs to go to Amplified tomorrow so they can add the Brembo brakes and coil overs.

These pics are in the dark from my iPHONE, I'll take some nice pics tomorrow. I'm really debating on the gold pinstripe, goes with the wheels but not sure which way to go with it. There's a little bit of a ridge from the gloss to the sheer so it hides it well but I suppose I could go to a black pinstripe instead.

Better pics coming tomorrow once its lowered and brakes are done!!! I'll send all the shout outs to those that helped get her done once its a wrap tomorrow.

Loving it thus far! Can't wait to drive the sh$% out of it now :)

Cool, that's what I was looking for. I'm thinking the pinstripe needs to go. Wish I would of known about the Demon Eyes before hand, that would of been cool too. Way too much fender gap, fixing that tomorrow!!!

Couple little blems I need to touch up but at least I have her home. Tell you this, sure drives different with these wheels, feels almost like I dont have power steering. No complaints, I like more front end feel.

Did you go with a more aggressive setup? front and rear?

I think its just that they are a bit wider then stock. Figure I'll see how it feels once the coilovers are installed tomorrow.

What are you thinking about the pinstripe? Looks much more aggressive with it off but does look a little more finished with it on. Really not into the whole bling thing (I don't want to hear any sh$% about the Rovers, wife likes them and they do great in the mountains :))

2. Pinstripe - I wouldn't have voted for Gold in advance (not that you asked LOL) but I don't think it looks half bad with the rims. It sounds like you're not sold on it though, and that's the opinion that matters most.

You know what... Couldn't really mod the JDM's internally so I just had him smoke them last minute. Damn things looked WAY too bright with car all blacked out.

I just need to install the carbon pillars and tow hook. Thanks for the props man, as you can tell I'm pretty damn excited. Oh, need to put the black caps on it too but the paint wasn't ready. no biggie...

I believe the rear was plastic welded but the front was filled and to be honest it bubbled a little so we're going to have to take another stab at that one. Apparently its a bit of a pain in the a$$ to get rid of the badges but worth it for me anyway :tup:

I'm at Amplified from 2PM to 6PM tomorrow if anyone feels like grabbing a burger, I'll buy! They need the car for about 4 hours to wrap up their stuff. I was going to do the shifter, knob etc myself but since they have it apart anyway may as well just knock it out..

Looks great. The carbon fiber showing through and the pinstripe are perfect for giving it a finished look rather than a "I primered my car and will paint it one day" look.

it looks really sick so far, but i would change the gold pinstripe to black like you said, give it a way more stealthier look, the gold just looks a little out of place. can't wait to see the good pictures though!
