Interesting build indeed good luck! I did a LS2 swap on a RX7 a long time ago and it was a major pain in the rear to say the least. There is not a lot of room to work with on the 370Z platform to begin with.

Awesome build, what needs to be wired into the cars harness? Abs or traction control working?

Hey thanks for the reply I appreciate it. I was checking over their site and I seem to just find standalone engine and trans wiring harnesses, is that what you are referencing? I am interested in the integration to the current wiring, I did see some of your posts with the start button, and needing a tach converter. Just more concerned about once the car is started how does the 370z bcm activate abs etc, or do these systems function without the knowledge of the engine running which is controlled by the GM ecu.

Yo, where you been hiding :ugh2:

blak max 10-27-2019 08:01 PM

not hiding as ive only driven the car 3 times since coming back from Zdayz in may. At zdayz my temps weren't being managed like normal. after doing research and making calls, i ordered an Edelbrock performance water pump from jegs in June. fast forward to now, im still waiting on that water pump. every time i talk to someone they say "middle of next month"..
Ive created a new YouTube and will be posting videos there. link is www.MisforMax.com

blak max 12-18-2019 05:31 PM

Water pump update - after 6 months of nothing i canceled my order for the edelbrock performance water pump. I ordered it june 20 and every month they would tell me it will be shipped by "middle of next month" seeing as how the 6 month date was coming up , i contacted paypal and was told my coverage ends at 180 day after purchase. i then contacted edelbrock who said they didnt know a shipment date but would call me back and i called JEGS, who i had ordered it from. JEGS said their rep talked to edelebrock and not to worry it will ship out in a week and a half (which would be after my paypal cuverage ends)and there would be no compensation for the 6 months of waiting. after i hung up with them edelbrock actually called me back and said it wont be available till end of January. smh . i only hate the fact that they had me believing it would ship out soon for 6 months

gbrettin 12-19-2019 08:21 AM

Which pump was it specifically?

blak max 12-20-2019 06:06 PM

edelbrock 8893. with this pump you have to buy the pulley separate.

Rusty 01-12-2020 01:10 AM

Lately they wanted a bucket full of money to host pictures. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they did.

If you pay them. Then you can get it. :shakes head:

I keep all of my pictures and video's on a separate hard drive so that I don't lose them.

LMAO, I do the same thing other than I lost my hard drive somewhere on a road trip. It was heart breaking.

hello..2022 update...after the fuel line rupture in early 2020 i was furloughed with the pandemic, so i didnt want to rush to replace the lines till i went back to work. forward 15 months and i finally got back to work from the furlough minus my daily which had taken its own life (kia engine seized with no check engine light). I replaced the fuel lines with PTFE lines and got the car back on the roads but now as my daily. Even though its now 2022 i am still working on things from 2020 and some new problems that popped up (first accident in the Z).. hope to get thins worked out and the car fixed soon
