when your fuel pump dies while you're at the intersection

if you get one of those ebay tow hooks...use it mostly for show
http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psgrikd8kj.jpg |
so thinking the fuel pump went out i ordered a new walbro on amazon.. came in and went into installing it
http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps550by8pu.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psgyolmzc2.jpg ran into some issues.. the oem fuel filter/strainer was coming apart, the return line was also disintegrating (leaving debris in the housing) , while trying to get the old pump out one of the housing hat rods broke off http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psd6umzsfv.jpg |
ordered the cj motorsports billit hat with new lines..
http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psiakjsqco.jpg install... http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...pskgggutmx.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psyxmgj5cb.jpg everything done and soldered http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...pss8noa84n.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psrjnl6ta3.jpg |

may have found my high speed vibration.. my axle nuts were hand loose.. ordered nissan castle nut caps and new axle cotter pins
http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...psiyaghn3x.jpg |
Glad to see you got it sorted, but those adjusting caps are pretty weak and known to come loose. Kawasaki has a beefy castle nut a number of people have used after having problems with the Nissan adjusting cap, just FYI. This thread has pretty much all the info you need: http://www.the370z.com/engine-drivet...unk-noise.html

Ello gov'na .. got some work done .. finally put the rear apr studs in.. you have to take the axles out to get good access to the hub bolts.. you dont have to take the e-brake apart. Also flushed the brake fluid, and had the spal fans installed to a custom fan shroud

What transmission did you use?
Hey - amazing project - Congrats!
I looked through the thread but couldn't find what transmission you used. Was it a 6L80 automatic? |

Throwback Thursday !!! I dont think ive shown the beginning pics before. The birth of this idea came at Zdayz one year. bought the car online from a different state. It came with everything but an engine block.
