The good part it was in the inside part of the wheel so it cant be seen from the outside. But still bit my lip for doing so...

Eh, no one will ever see it and the wheel will work just fine. Chalk it up to a learning experience.

I feel your paint I'm pretty careful and within the first few months of ownership I scraped along the underside of my sideskirt on a stupid hidden piece of concrete taking a girl to jack in the box, you can't see it but I know it's there

I have one of these as well. Not sideskirt but front under body. Ah well. It's just a car right? God forbid that BC show up and see that I just actually wrote that.

I get it. I have a sliver of bumper missing and it killed me to know that for the first couple months. I've settled down about it, though. It's just not worth $1k to fix something so small.

Anyone try to repair curb rash themselves? I have a small scrap, about 2" long, that I got this past weekend. Plenty of Youtube videos showing how to do the repair yourself.

My concern is with the silver paint -- does anyone know what brand would match the OEM rims on a 2013 base model?

FYI -- I got a quote from a local place, Wheel Fix It (kinda like the name), for $125, then another $15 to remount the tire. I sent a request to the local "Alloy Wheel Repair" place but have not heard back from them yet.

I dug up my old rpf1s pretty bad. Filed down the gash. Filled it with a spackling putty. Smoothed it. Rattle can primed then had a little paint shop color match it. They charged me $45
