I'm in. It's been too long. I'll bring whatever's needed, or I can share my crabs again ;)

Shahid, you ok with us switching parks? I'll still drive ahead and secure a picnic spot only I'll bring Frank with me. If so, could you change the park and address in the OP?

Got the addressed changed and updated the attendees list. Thanks for looking into it Mark!

I would still like to do a hike to the falls at Cunninham Falls. It's a 1 min drive from the new location so it shouldn't be a problem.

If I arrange the mirrors just right there'll be plenty of me for everyone.

m4a1mustang 06-19-2014 06:55 AM

Shahid, put us down for burgers. I'll find a halal place (your house) to pick up the meat (;)) and we'll do regular and sriracha.

oh god zdayz flashback :ugh2:

jpkirk 06-19-2014 08:21 AM

Jim Kirk (jpkirk) now definitely going +1. Maybe +3 if I can get my son and his girlfriend to go.

I'll bring some pre-cooked ribs that will need to be bbq'd and chips with my home brew salsa. It is not a chunky style but can carry anywhere from mild to ... less mild heat. Depends on how many and type of peppers.

dmhenderson 06-19-2014 08:33 AM

Someone needs to bring charcoal too.

b1adesofcha0s 06-19-2014 08:58 AM

We also need drinks and utensils/plates/napkins.

aniceh 06-19-2014 09:29 AM

Sounds like we're going to have a lot of things to grill. I can bring disposable foil chafing dishes to hold the food and gel fuel keep it warm.

m4a1mustang 06-19-2014 10:55 AM

We need to make sure we don't have too many things to grill.

MightyBobo 06-19-2014 11:53 AM

I do have a Costco membership as well, so we could get plates/utensils.

I see a LOT of grilled food being brought - just keep in mind, if you bring enough for everyone, there will be a ton of waste typically. That's why we considered bringing sides, so we have something other than JUST meat lol

m4a1mustang 06-19-2014 12:55 PM

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I think we should cut back on the meat.

Once I firm this up, I'll definitely bring a side dish instead.

P.S. I'll also bring a hammer to take out any mirror I see that is not on a car!

jpkirk 06-19-2014 02:04 PM

I would be happy to forgo the ribs. It's a two day process

jpkirk 06-19-2014 02:06 PM

b1adesofcha0s 06-19-2014 04:35 PM

I'll switch from chicken wings to water bottles since Dee is bringing chicken too.

Well then I will get plates/napkins/utensils and bring a case of water bottles to refill the cooler if needed.

Hmmmm........ Sounds very interesting. I don't frequent the MAZOC thread, but would definitely be interested in meeting you guys. If schedule allows, I'll make the trip.
Menu looks pretty solid so far, I may have to bring a surprise plate.

ZCarMan 06-19-2014 07:07 PM

I'm a maybe for this as I maybe out of town. Otherwise I'll bring a side dish as requested. Good to see things coming together.

dmhenderson 06-19-2014 07:44 PM

We should probably set a rain date for this too - like say Sunday the 3rd. That way we won't have a repeat of last year.

Works for me. Let's have August 9th as a secondary rain date in case we get a weekend of rain.

b1adesofcha0s 06-19-2014 09:13 PM

As far as activities go, I'm thinking we will have the official start time at 10. We can leave for the cruise around 10:30-11 and be back in time for lunch around noon. I wanted to do a hike to Cunningham falls so maybe we could do that after lunch, around 2 pm.

I wouldn't be able to make it on that date, but if I'd still be happy to get the salmon and give to someone who can attend.

Tigger 06-19-2014 09:48 PM

If y'all wind up on the rain date I'll actually be able to make the drive up!
