You'll probably be better off getting the RS3's. You will need the extra grip with all that power from the turbo.

Doesn't make sense to spend all that money on the turbo kit and then cheap out on tires. What good is all that power if you can't put it to the ground.

Question of the day....

Buy new 245's orrrrrrr spend the extra $140 and get new 305 rears and move my 275s up front?

FPenvy 08-01-2013 09:22 AM

there is no treadwear on those haha 140? no wonder why they are cheap.:bowrofl:

eastwest2300 08-01-2013 09:22 AM

Yeah they are just an old production. There is a thread on them somewhere on here. Everyone who has purchased them say they are in perfect shape.

And my current rears have 6/32

2 305's run $458
2 245's run $318

I'm assuming you don't already have RS3's so I say buy 4 new RS3's and get them as wide as you can fit. Definitely want to make sure you have a matching front and rear set.

Low treadwear like that usually means the tires have more grip.

Yeah that is just not in the cards right now unless someone would buy my current rears.

I might just buy new front vreds. Its just the RS3s are sooooo cheap.

well in some cases with track or super performance tires they always have low tread wear. but my PSS's have tremendous grip and are a 300 tread wear.

October>March is DD season  Hoping I can get a beater Legacy GT. Get all of the AWD snow hooning in :driving:

Ok I've got the first post updated. If you don't see your name or you don't see any items next to your name, please let me know if you are coming and what you are going to bring. At this point you can bring whatever you want, I'm just trying to keep track of it so we all don't bring the same thing.

Any kind of food or snack would be good. Just make sure you bring enough of it. Looks like we'll have around 20 people attending.

I think it will be the most epic bbq yet. We should start planning activities for the day. I will check in with Randy on the status of the cruise. The other one was the hike to the falls. What time should we go hiking? I'm Thinking around 3-4 PM would be good so we can grill some dinner after we get back.

Might have another car coming down. It is my bud who moved here from the UK a few years ago. He has a 2012 Eclipse. Nothing crazy just transportation while he gets his life going over here.

LunaZ 08-05-2013 09:00 AM

I may have to crash this shindig.
