I think you'll find that it's worth the extra money. Paying down a mortgage is definitely better than wasting money on rent, which is why I'm trying to get a house ASAP.

Oh brother, I feel you on that, but dude... the way morgages work, its crazy.. you buy a $200k house, and after 30 years of interest, you ended up shelling out $500K...

The way i see it, you should try to pay off that mortgage. make 2 extra payments per year, it will go a long long way.

yeah but man I see all the bad stuff that plays into mortgages, too many people have their hands in the cookie jar (so to speak). its like who can you trust?
