I started with autox in the Z since I did it many ... many ... many years ago in an MGB. I am also not driven too much by high speed. Lateral acceleration though, that is a different story.

One pulled me over in my Vette, last year. He saw my track outlines and we chatted about racing. He happened to own a Vette as well, but never tracked it...but he did track his motorcycle regularly.

Similarities were there :-p

Must have put in something wrong in Google Maps earlier, it's now showing about 30 mins further than Summit for me. Think it might be about the same for those in NoVA.

ahh dude, do you know how far the DC metro (im guessing the green line) is from AAM, or is there a bus line that runs by the shop?

Is there enough room to get the oil filter off without a huge mess just using that little trap door?

I suspect so. ZSpeed says there is enough room to get to pan bolt & also change Filter. It does look rather small from the picture, but actually is much larger in reality. I"ll let you know how it lines up & if the door is large enough once I get it installed. Not shown in photo is the new mounting hardware that was included. New 10mm screws, threaded clips, & plastic push clips, very nice.

Yup, its an easy install..

I have one and the trap door is big enough to get to the drain plug and filter even with an oil cooler using a bigger filter. :tup:

If you dig around I bet you'll find a pic of it installed with the trap door open.

I had AAM install the same item. Really looks and works great!:icon18:

LOL! The green Line is not an option. The folks at the shop will give you a lift to the train station, just down the road. I forgot how much it costs. It's the Amtrack Station. That will take you into DC. It's a quick run. :tiphat:
