Didn't even think of the cost of living factor.

I can't remember how or when it happened but instead of a heart I always see a nut sack when someone posts <3

That is good. Im at 1200 SQFT with no garage and I don't pay utilities except electricity which isn't much in the winter(prepaid gas heat baby!!!)
I didn't buy though. Im only renting for now.

But yeah 45k seems to be the equivalent of 70k down there. Maybe I should work in Maryland and live in PA hmmmmm :stirthepot:

You say that jokingly (I think) but tons and tons of people do it. When I worked at AAI in hunt valley I think half the people i worked with lived in york.

Buying new for you is NOT the logical choice at that price range...

That's not necessarily true. When I was looking all the places that were building brand new homes had a ton of flexibility in their financing. He may be able to land a house like that without putting any money down. A few places in Carroll County were basically begging me to buy from them and were willing to negotiate anything and everything. But seriously fvck living in Carroll County. The other thing to note is that the market is rapidly changing, mortgage rates are back on the rise, I think they're above 4% again now.

It does not. Its only useful if your battery so low and the fob isn't able to send a strong signal.

You have to pop open the fob and swap out the battery.

Oh i would love to buy a house in Carroll County... My wife's parents live over there... some gorgeous land too. If it wasn't so far away from Bolling I would have gone for it.

But I do like my location... i was looking at some new places. Nothing new had a decent amount of land, some u could fit a deck, and that was it. Also the HOAs were ridiculous. Fees and rules.
