KAC rail sections and covers came in. All put together now. I usually hate all those little add-ons but i actually really like the hand stop right in front of the VFG. I can very comfortably roll my hand a bit and it is perfect. So I'll see how practical it is when i take it out. At least it looks much more polished with the covers on.

IWI announced that they are releasing a 300BLK conversion kit and dedicated model for the Tavor! Both the kit and rifle will come in 16.5” or 18”. It is awesome that IWI listened to thier customers and are releasing an OEM 300BLK.

A Tavor in 300BLK....

I guess I'll be getting a third Tavor at some point.

Looks awesome! I'm interested but I have a few more things to do to my 300 and then I intend to finish the .308. And now that I'm on that topic, I may convert that to another caliber. Not entirely sure yet. Just now starting serious research. But the 260, 6.5CM and 338 Federal are all possibilities. We shall see. Here's to the next six years of building one silly rifle. lol

If you could keep an eye out for a specific AK, the Century Arms C39V2 Magpul MOE Edition (not the Magpul Zhukov). Just interested in what they are going for in our area. Been on the fence about getting an AK just to have one. The C39V2 MOE does it for me.

Thanks!

Really depends on what you want to do with that rifle. For a fighting/general purpose AR-10 I would stick with .308. If I wanted more range I would go with 6.5CM because, as far as I know, the only special part needed is the barrel. All the other 308 parts including the mags are compatible with 6.5CM. This is due to 6.5CM being based off of the .308. Just my

You are not the only one with a 6 year project. My SOCOM M1A hasn't seen any love in about 5 years. Shot it once, put a Troy MCS stock on it, hated it, haven't shot it since. Looking at getting the new VLTOR M1-S stock for it.

lol! yeahhhhhh... finish that ****! and yes. the 6.5CM is way high on the list because it is essentially a .308 but better ballistics. I just want a long range caliber. I'm changing the barrel anyway so I'm entertaining any long-range caliber with higher terminal ballistics at 1,000+. If the .308 proves to not lack much then I'll stick with it since that will save me from having to buy a ton of new ammo. Already have .308 rounds laying around everywhere.

Talking Can Cannon PSA

PSA

For those who don't know a while back BATFE reclassified the Can Cannon by X Products so that when it was on a AR-15 lower it was an SBR and a AR-15 Pistol lower an AOW. That put guys like me who owned the Can Cannon in the dog house due to not having any SBR lowers or AOW lowers. Luckily I had a friend with a SBR willing to babysit mine ever since that ruling came out.

X Products promised to fix this and they have.

The new design of the gas port passed BATFE approval and X Products have set up a replacement program for the new gas tube.

Replacement Program: https://xproducts.com/legalize-my-can-cannon
BATFE Letter: https://www.xproducts.com/sites/defa...Can-Cannon.pdf

Also X Products has released the grappling hook for the Can Cannon.
Comes in different colors, grey, red, blue, and gold.
