***The OFFICIAL forza 3 thread***

Just collected my copy today.
Went to the SuperGP on the Gold Coast and there was a Xbox Overdrive party at one of the clubs.
Was the night of the released of Forza 3 so they had a bunch of 360's sitting around with some promo girls taking peoples name/lap time/mob number.

2 fastest laps compete against each other up on stage later that night. Was myself vs some lanky nerd guy.

Problem for lanky nerd guy was, on all the time trial xbox's they raced in Auto, tcs, stc etc. So come the final race vs me when they turned all those off, he just sat there spinnig his wheels and locking up all 4 at every corner. Needless to say I won and scored myself the game and an Xbox 360.

Was a shallow victory but hey, it was a club and i had heaps to drink.

Just got enough credits to buy the 370z. How do I upgrade the car with mods? I don't see that feature, does it open up later in the game?

no you can upgrade immediately, its called upgrade shop its in the menu before the actual race event menu

ive got a 370z with the Nismo kit and some gunmetal TE37's

btw did anybody get the collector's edition? the one with the USB stick? i upgraded to it b/c i had a gamestop GC that i didn't think i'd be using anytime soon...
