For the 997, I would personally go with a Carrera S. Last I checked, the late '00 models were well over $50K. But yes, maintenance cost will be considerably more

For the 997, I would personally go with a Carrera S. Last I checked, the late '00 models were well over $50K. But yes, maintenance cost will be considerably more than our Z cars. If your dad doesn't mind, or if the car is meant to be a Sunday driver, then that shouldn't matter.
