Completely jealous. I hope to get to travel out there in the next few years, when I actually get to take a vacation. It would help if I stopped spending my vacation money on engine powered things...

You know they banned lap speed testing at "The Ring" now right?

Some zones will have speed limits due to continued fatalities.

So sad.

That is sad. I feel like as bad as it sounds anything that considers itself a race track should expect fatalities to happen.

Trouble is, the Nurburg Ring is actually a public highway. The fee they take for your lap is just a toll. I'm surprised it's survived this long, with the up-tight-ness of the modern world. Read: Safety

Yeah, very sad, RSRNurburg, which I had rented from, had told us about the subsequent of the GTR accident. I rented a scirocco and didn't think about speed limits lol.

The management of Nurburgring should be aware that motorsports is impossible to be free of risk
