Why cant he just change the mailing address to your address with the credit union, so that way you never have to see him again, and you know you will

Why cant he just change the mailing address to your address with the credit union, so that way you never have to see him again, and you know you will get the title. If the credit union knows that its being sold, they shouldn't have any issue sending it straight to you.
