So here is the original color version of my shots from two nights ago. I might swap in a more toned down version of the stars to help it flow better. Also, this spot sucked for star trails. As you can see, there was a lot of air traffic.

Actually I really like the contrast added by the plane trails cutting straight through the curved star trails. It's the road traffic that I really don't like. But that's a very fine photo either way

Maybe sometime you'll let me tag along?

There's no road traffic in these shots.

The bright lights on the right side are from planes. The ones on the far left tree line are from a small building that was still visible.

Sure, we can plan something for the next new moon as long as it's clear out. I went out last night with Brandon to do some light painting shots with his Z. I'll get around to editing those tonight.

Oh so those are planes landing/taking off? Whatever they are, they are no bueno
