kinda like this couple i know... they have a big house, expensive cars, even a boat. yet they couldnt have kids even though they tried soo many times. would they

kinda like this couple i know... they have a big house, expensive cars, even a boat. yet they couldnt have kids even though they tried soo many times.
 would they trade their material things for a normal suburban life raising a family?  wats odd to me is that i recommended adopting, but they didnt want to do that. must be a confusing situation
