370z or R35

So I recently got a little bit of money and was wondering what other people might do. Would you make your 370 sexy as ****, or just buy a GTR?

I really love both cars, but my 370 costs me like 200 a month in insurance and the GTR will cost me at least double that. Not to mention I probably wont have much, if any left over to mod it. And I do enjoy an actual stick shift

370Z -if- you want to mod. GT-R if you aren't.

Save your money. Or when you're 33, you'll come back to this exact thread for regrets. Keep the 370z. Mod it. F that GTR. Save money

The Z is much more cost effective fun IMO. Plus 6MT FTMFW But if you need straight line speed, you should probably just get the GT-R. Also, I would get the GT-R rather than go FI on a Z. A lot less potential headache. But a very nicely upgraded N/A Z can be extremely potent on the race track

imho, if you're 23 and have enough cash to buy a GTR, blowing it on a depreciating asset is about the dumbest thing you can do. Having "recently got a little money" makes me think this was a one time thing, so save/invest it; you won't regret that.

Of course, finances should be in order before considering a GT-R. A good chunk of change isn't going to do it if you can't afford insurance or maintenance a couple of years down the road. Unless you just sell it at a nice loss

if you have just enough to buy the GTR but not much leftover... how do you plan to have money for maintenance on the GTR? I mean its not that bad but there is going to be some up keep cost involved

sure you can buy a 2009 or 2010 GTR for 60's now but the tires are still 2K+ a set and last under 10k miles the fluids changes are still needed and the cost of rotors and pads need to be factored in if you are buying used as they go at about 30K miles or less depending on how it was driven

If you do not have a house and thinking of buying a GTR that's not very smart. Unless you don't drive the car it will depreciate dramatically the house will not .

Well good for you. Looks like your living arrangements for the next 6 years are already thought out. Go get that GTR man

I support your decision, I'm sure your parents will too.

Default 370z or R35

Pay off your car, your credit cards or keep the extra money in the bank.

Maintain what you already have and be thankful for it.

The people who gave you good advise probably already went thru a lot in life like losing a house, bankruptcy, divorced, buried in credit card debts, etc.

I'm 25 and was thinking about getting a GT-R. Saving$1,000 a month. Then I realized I can just pay off the Z and live stress free. Then eventually move to a GT-R and have both.
