so i spent a chunk of money on a new offroad rc kit, bearing set, and oil dampers, and will be building with my kid later in the week. :p

i was thinking about getting one of those touring cars and attend a few races again, but
honestly no time to do that since saturdays are already half taken with kids private
schools and watever stuff they have going on after school. so got an offroad one and
drive it inside/outside the house. :D will plasti-shitt the electronics and drive it in snow :rofl2:

I have built two rc cars and have more fun driving them under cars in
the dark in front of my house............

:icon17: the ones i run inside the house have a very short wheelbase and i program the steering travel (lock to lock) to max.
made a jump ramp using rolled up carpet and car floor mat. :D

yah, he's a car kid so need to start properly with building, setting up, modding, driving rc cars.

then race a few virtual cars on ps, then work on real cars when he's older. :D

yah, i should try that too.. just the toy indoor ones. i remember a very long time ago keyence released their first micro rc helicopter and we were wow'ed. :tup: i have an indoor prop plane. pretty cool stuff. :D

speaking of blind spots, while i was motoring my Z yesterday i saw another z waiting at a light in the left-turn lane as i was approaching the intersection making a right turn on their driver side.

was going to give em a :tup: but noticed the friggen dumbo mirror was compeletely blocking the driver's face while i was making the right turn, so could not see the driver's face until i was past their car. lol :shakes head:

now if that was a cs mirror, no issue.

:iagree: for me, i'd get a cheapo one to fly inside the house. our living room ceiling is high so it would be fun to fly it from the living room to the loft. :p
