so i figured out a way to make my masking tape dispenser mounted on the garage wall.
used two L brackets. one bracket holds the roll of tape, the other bracket is used to cut the tape on its edge and to keep the tape attached to the bracket for easy access next time. $3 vs $25+ shipping
