I am OK, but am not very happy about going where I am going. The lead guy with whom I am working on this project has a twisted view of what a consultant's role is.

It is not my job to figure out how to run his business or make decisions on business processes for him. Geesh, the guy cannot do anything on his own and has to have things explained over and over and over and over and over...

He is truly unique. he does NOTHING on his own, has to have his hand held through every process. Then, when he reports his progress during the daily status meetings, everything is his idea. That does not bother me usually, but coming from him, it makes me boil. I fantasize about jumping over the table and slapping the crap out of him. I really do.

Anyway, thanks for allowing me to vent.

I want off this project in the worst way, but I need the Delta miles.

Delta Miles, Marriott points, National Cat Rental days and Reps.

That's all I want.

But at least I can help with one of those four things

If you ever have the chance (i.e. leaving the company in fit of rage or just abandoning this client), try and get him to latch on to a terrible idea that he can promote as his own in the weekly meetings
