hey 6mt.

btw, wats the shelf life of a typical brake fluid unopened bottle? i have a dot3/4 valvoline from like 3yrs ago i was going to use on my G this spring. this will be the last bleed before i sell the car.

Hey Ken-san...

Brake fluid does not have a shelf life. If sealed properly, it lasts forever. But because of brake fluid's properties to absorb water, it usually spoils after some time in storage. New sealed containers will last forever. Once opened and exposed to the atmosphere, brake fluid begins to absorb water.

thanks! yep, it's definitely unopened so i will use it.
