So, my buddy and his wife offered to pay for my room in Vegas this weekend (they're also going), since I haven't anyone to split a room with (would be a $500ish weekend for a hotel alone).
I don't feel like I can afford a $1,000 weekend in Vegas with my other upcoming purchases (wheels, int'l vacation), but now I feel like I've guilted them (somehow) into paying for my room? I told him that it's too much and I couldn't accept it, but he insists and says it'll be my birthday gift. Do I accept it? What do y'all think? |
