so ive been playing around with my new thinkpad i got this week.

very good.

i dont mind that my computer does not have the physical buttons up at the top of the trackpad. i know hardcord thinkpad users (like my wife) use the pointer all the time and the mechanical switches. they hate the new thinkpad layout.

im a mac user so me using trackpad is second nature.

i dont know wat the fuss iz.

I filed my taxes on Sunday. Now the waiting game.

I think I'm at the point where I may just get an accountant to do mine next year. We'll see how I feel in 2015.

I am not. I was planning on doing an accounting double major, but then decided it wasn't for me.

I'm in IT consulting now.

Not that kind of IT; my practice specializes in (mainly large scale) systems implementation and process improvement.

BUT on that note, are you referring to the virtual buttons on the touch pad vs actual buttons? I've had limited time on the new touchpad (my wife has one) but I haven't had any issues when I do use it. I rarely use touch pads anyhow, never really liked them so I have a wireless mouse on all my laptops.

I always liked actual buttons, but the integrated touch button do not bother me too much. However, I don't like when they cram them into a really small touchpad as my fat fingers tend to cause problems.
