that sucks, CAMI down here my way seems to be busy is that not the same union? could you not transfer? or other guys transfer if there is openings?

I am actually waiting to hear back from CAMI but already have an offer from one of their own sub companies Autrans

Long story... Here is a very small taste.

Transfers will be available (probably) when the shìt hits the fan. Oshawa was/is the dumping ground for all the displaced GM employees. St.Therese closed, Scarborough van plant closed, half the work force from Oshawa Truck plant, St.Catherines components plant, people from when London Diesel closed, some CAMI people they are all in Oshawa starting from the bottom again.

Sure CAMI is busy, but they have two more factories building the same product. They could close the doors there at any time. They did it to the Oshawa Truck plant. That truck plant was their most productive, highest quality, most profitable plant in the entire corporation...

If any of your job options are in an industry other than automotive, I would seriously look at that.
