That seems to be about my experiences with the Asian girls. I've had those same type of experiences with non-Asian girls as well, but not nearly as often.

The one I'm talking to is a fairly typical 21 year old white girl... likes to have fun, party, drink, travel, takes snaps shots, wears lots of make up at times, etc. In person, she doesn't even act the way she looks. She doesn't come off conceited, and doesn't talk money either. When she jumped in the passenger side of my car her first words were "Wow, your car is clean!" I was driving the '99 Accord that night.

I think we've found an issue. Every age you have mentioned is <25. Women are batshit crazy anyway, but it's so much worse under 27 or so.

Understood. The girl a few hours away is around 25 and shot me down. My buddy's ex-fiancee was around 28 when she broke off the engagement only to marry someone else on the exact day planned. That girl was crazy from the get go.

How I see it, it doesn't matter what age the person is. Everyone's got their quirks. Even my mom drives my dad crazy, but they still love each other dearly.

I think that's true. Someone once told me that anyone can act 'normal' for 90 days, that's usually when the wheels fall off. The challenge I have is the women in my age range are either self medicated (alcohol) or Big Pharma medicated (Xanax and who knows what else). I admit I act a little churlish when I'm out and about, hell, I'm a Marine what else am I supposed to do?

I seem to have a little better success when I'm not looking for a gf, things just fall into my lap (not literally, but you get the idea). I may have to take bombdefuzer's suggestion and move to Thailand, I could use a housekeeper/cook/bed warmer...

Digi, it's sounds naïve, but you will find someone perfect for you. People say it comes when you least expect it, but it usually requires some effort. The issue isn't always with the girl either. Let's face it, none of us are perfect. Age isn't a big deal, but maturity can be. Also, forget the Asian or racial thing....it's really insignificant to liking a particular person. I'm 33-year old Filipino and my girlfriend, now fiancé, is 26-year old Irish/Scottish. Find someone who has the same interest and values as you and go from there. All the little check list you tick off when meeting a girl only stops you from your ultimate goal...being happy. Not married or being in a relationship...just being happy. Just use every date as a learning experience, every rejection as one less girl to worry about. Sounds cliché, but try striking up conversations at a bookstore, library or any places you have an interest. It's all about getting out there in the real world. You can't expect them to just walk into your house.

If you made it down here, I'm sure we could find enough Z guys to split up a party bus rental, a cooler of booze and a keg. Last time it only cost ~100 or so for about 15 guys. bring cash only, leave the camera at home.
