yah, it's considered 'normal.' you know, until the winter 2yrs ago i motored my G through salt and snow everyday, my drive axles were still that pretty green color paint.

at least we can't see it.

Its probably like those lower front arms that rust almost instantly.

some parts do rust fast.

on my dd, i use motor oil on a rag and just dab inside the engine bay on exposed metals and screw heads to keep parts from rusting before snow fall. in fact, i might do that this weekend.

Yeah the sound is so intoxicating. Cold Start is pretty loud though. I usually go for early morning drives before the wife wakes up, we'll see if the exhaust wakes her now!
