Around here we have management on salary that have to dress the part mean while they are only making half of what us dirty construction/contractors/electricians do! I almost always wear slacks and a dress shirt. I only wear suits when necessary and typically never wear jeans to work even though we can some days. Just preference. Blue collar work can definitely pay well no doubt. Just not my thing.
