yah, my house was not designed for such generator and requires village ordinace folks (and HOA) to approve before i can move forward. and that was where we kinda bottlenecked and stopped.

i sent your link to my wife and will see wat needs to be done. if its a huge pita to get this installed i'll probably end up with a honda generator, but if not, i'd prefer to install these natural gas ones.

I had a Honda generator I think model 3000somethingsomething. I used it for mobile detailing. YOu could run that thing full tilt and it sounded like a whisper 20ft away! It ALWAYS started in 3 pulls and ran like a dream! Oil change is easy too. I have nothing but praise for Honda generators. I actually gave it to my uncle that goes camping alot. I *THINK* they are approved for use in loads of camping places because they are so quiet.

If it helps out at all, we found this electrician through the builder of our house. He was amazing to us and he hired others that were awesome too. If you know of a good contractor, hit them up and inquire about who might do this type of work. Chances are if they themselves are good contractors, they know others in other fields that are TRUE professionals and are worth the $.

haha, i would not want to live in a desert.

power outage in my area is very rare because i live in a newer community where most all of the power lines in our grid are underground.

maybe once every 3-4yrs we get a power outage.

when we had this huge storm 2yrs ago the older side of our village was hit hard and took 2wks to restore power as their community still uses over head power.

Living out in the woods has multiple advantages

^^ that's great advice. i should've asked my hvac guy for an electrician when he was at my house early am...

i luv going out in the woods.

when i visit my parents my pops takes me up the mountains and he likes to hike the mountains, but i like to stroll and just smell and listen to the surroundings in the deep forest.

i was walking slow so then pops told me bears like to eat kenchan.
