hope ur undershroud is ok...

Thanks guys :tiphat: The trouble shooting was easy. The only reason it took me this long to "solve" it, is how little I drive the car and... It required me to take it out of high boost mode, today was the first time doing that :bowrofl:

Re:undershroud. I'm not too concerned with it. That's it's job, protecting the important things from road debris. I felt the piece of tire hit the floor(?) further back. I'll jack it up this weekend and do a full inspection.

Took the Z to work last night  On the way home I did some troubleshooting. I have a ticking noise coming from behind the instrument cluster area only when I get in boost. I had a feeling it was the solenoid from my boost controller because I have it mounted to the metal surrounding the brake booster, this is in line with the area the noise is coming from. Anyhow, an easy test was to turn the boost controller off, thus bypassing the solenoid, good news, no noise. So... I have three options, 1. Live with the ticking noise when I use the boost controller, 2. Move the solenoid, or 3. Isolate the solenoid from the metal in the existing location.

In other news I ran over a piece of tire debris on the highway. I had to straddle it to minimize potential damage. Good news is the body work is a-ok, bad news is it hit something under the car. I'll need to get under the car to investigate but I believe everything will be ok. The car sounds and drives the same otherwise

Good job, you sleuth you! You're hearing must be eexceotionalky good, eh?

Now some cool news.

I stumbled upon a video from this years Comic Con of my best friend since grade 1 facing off against his boss Matt Groening in a drawing contest.

The name on the video is wrong but you can hear Phil Lamarr say his proper name at the start of the video, Edmond Fong. He is an animator on The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, to name a few. He also directed a few episodes of Futurama.

I'm proud of his accomplishments. He is extremely talented and has worked very hard to get where he is today.

Edmund Fong - IMDb

That is sooooooooo freaking awesome  I've been a Simpson fanatic since it started. I have nearly all of the seasons on DVD (up to about Season 20), and I'm not embarrassed by that fact :icon17: If you ever come across any of his swag, I want :pics:

You know you could just remove the boost controller to get rid of the noise, right? :icon17:

But seriously, good job  I can imagine it's just as hard to diagnose issues like that when you don't DD the car as it is for me to tear apart my DD for mods :ugh2:
