:( oh noes... definitely get the whole bumper repainted and clearbra'ed. did you have to drive through gravel?

If I repaint, I will clearbra it so I can stop worrying about it. And no, we went driving on back roads and dust and pebbles were probably picked up by the Z's in front of me.

Is it that bad? It's the ZR1s fault :driving:

I say repaint the whole bumper. Mines got a ton of battle scars as well. I'm going to wait another year then have the bumper repainted as well.

This year I opted to drive in front of the zr1, but I still got sprayed a lot. I tried to get good distance between me and the guys in front of me, but I would catch up too often ;) :driving:

I'm thinking that repaint might have to be the case. I'll have to really evaluate it over the weekend. Most of them are small but there are pits that touch up paint will just hide better but will not get rid of. Overall I would say I have about 8 chips in the hood, 3 on the roof, 2 on rear fender, and about 40-50 on the bumper :shakes head:

Sorry to hear about the damage Ken. I have to agree that a repaint and clear bra is the way to go.

ouch..... shop around first, some places jack the prices up 4 times than what the job is worth because they can..... there's a shop near here where I live that occasionally does that to our family. so shop around

yea id say if its that much.....then repaint.

It's painful because of the time and effort invested in keeping it as clean and imperfection free as possible.

Shitty deal dude, my front has a whole bunch of tiny pebble/debris marks. I to know that one day I will need to do full respray as even the hood has a couple small chips and I have one small one on my rear fender.:shakes head:

I have fixed most with dr. colourchip but the paint is still damaged. I tried and tried and fr the life of me I cannot get the dr. cc to level out even and smooth with the paint :ugh2: such a piss off, I can still find all the chips/marks if close enough to the car as you can see the marks into the smooth surface....

also even the highway (if you drive on highways) will cause a lot of little debris/pebble/rock chips as there is always some kinda crap in the highway. It is only because Nissan uses such a soft crappy paint! when I do get it respray I will be getting it done in better quality paint and and at least 3-4 coats of clear :yum:

It is not that bad -- Maple Grove is an upper middle class suburb of Minneapolis and it is close to Anoka where I go to work when I am here. There are many decent restaurants as well.

Have a good day, my friend.

Lol, defending it to the death! (I'm biased to CA, and I wish you spent more time at home, that is all)
