Awesome traffic this morning...

Won't get much time to :postwhore: as I have to go out in the field today. Probably will take me all day.

Gonna have to take mine in soon to get the door button chime fixed. The lock/unlock on the key FOB isn't fixing it. :(

I saw that your searches turned up nothing. I'll make an inquiry regarding this :tiphat:

I'm wondering if it's just another fuse?

Though, I'm dreading sitting in my 90-100deg garage and pulling out the fuse box again, because it's not going to be in the ones that are easily accessible. :icon17:

Thought it would be part of the anti-theft, but no. Hrm...

I am on the road this week -- until Thursday. They are bringing it up Wednesday or Thursday. My dealer had to trade a Nismo Frontier (manual trans) to the other dealer to get my Z. She has 16 miles on here. Well, that's a lot of miles, but I am going with it anyway.

If everything goes according to plan, I am going to get it Saturday. I have to transfer lots of dollars into my checking account, which takes a couple of days anyway.

onzedge 06-03-2013 08:40 AM

I am travelling too much. I am at the Sacramento airport this morning and the Delta agent called me by name when I walked up. The shoe shine guy did the same.

Travel hint: Always wear your dirtiest shoes when going to the airport and have a pro detail them for you. Then, expense out the cost to your client.

:tup::tup:

I think mine had 10 miles on it when I got it. Then 400 that same day. :icon17: Almost 1000 by the following Monday (drove it back on a Friday). :ugh2: :icon17:

Can't wait to see some pics of it!

I've always wondered, how much do you tip the shoe-shine guy?

I've never had mine shined (I don't travel with me dress shoes).

kenchan 06-03-2013 08:55 AM

goodam, everyone. :hello: hope you all had great sunday....mine was too quick. :icon17:

motored my Z yesterday am, had a great time. as usual, QD'ed afterwards, then washed my dd. reorganized my screws and nuts bin as i had new stock come in last week. :yum: i still need to re-organize my parts bin in the garage this week, and also the storage area later this summer.

kenchan 06-03-2013 09:01 AM

so my wife was doing a lot of washing/drying over the weekend using the luckygoldstartstupidtunes.... then yesterday, after washing my MF towels, i found a puddle of water between the units. :eekdance: i was like wth, one of the stupidgoldstar is broken already??

anyway, i wiped it up, placed a dry paper towel between the units and ran both of them again. to my surprise, the dryer side started to get wet.

first, it appears the luckygoldstartstupidtunes is too powerful for the older house's evac vent and bottle necks at the wall. so i went outside, cleaned out the duct just in case (wasn't that dirty). second, the higher humidity in the air these days seems to be the curprit as well. this is the first summer im running these units.

i opened up the hvac register in the utility room a tad more and put a small fan to circulate. everything was dry after that. :D

Head tech thinks it might be a BCM reset procedure. I'm going to email him, and he'll look into it. I'll let you know when I hear back

...and the BCM reset is just disconnect the positive bat. cable for a bit? That's what I gathered from my forum & Google searches.

It's not just a bit... more like an hour or more...

I suspect that is probably the DIY fix. The dealer has software they can use to change the setting. I'm emailing the guy right now though.

Yes, I'll give it another week to settle (total of 2 weeks) and will go in for an alignment (which will probably include toe bolts install)
