:hello: all

busy weekend over here. I bought a new dd (well used car, but new addition to the driveway :p ) Car is a 2002 Civic Ex Coupe. It's a 4at unfortunately :ugh2:, but my fiancee needs to be able to drive it since she doesn't want to drive mt.

Just ordered $400 of parts for it including timing belt/water pump, air filter, trans oil, new gaskets, new brakes, and a few misc parts for those jobs.

Overall car is in pretty good condition and is surprising pleasing to drive. Has light steering, and responds well. A bit slow, but even at 11 years old on the last fill up I got 38 mpg :woot:. I think it would be a nice dd if I had the 5mt model.
No performance mods will be going on it ... 1. its an AT, 2. whats the point. Z beats it in every category anyway :happydance:

I like it... I want to do something interesting with my strut bar too but matching grey seems kind of boring. I might look into to having it chromed to match an aftermarket intake.

I have an 08 4at civic...it suffices as a dd...the Z DOES beat it in every category, well, maybe one the Civic wins: snow!! Enuff said!

Congrats though!!

Don't have to be red, he can do any color.

Just to follow-up on the mods - just bled my brakes since they have been a little soft since I had stainless steel lines, slotted rotors installed. If you have been keeping up, you'll remember the shop stripped 14 of my 20 lugnuts and ruined five studs.

Well today I found out why my pedal has always felt a little soft - the azz wipes also cross threaded a nut in one of the metering blocks! It's got a very tiny leak.

F#CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a major problem but something to fix before going to COTA next Saturday.

There are days when I wish I had never touched this car.

Nothing to feel sorry for, just an example of what can happen.
