You're the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning, don't kid yourself.

I just have to make it look like I am thinking about everyone else (when I'm really not). :ugh2:

either that or we can glue blocks of wood to the soles of your shoes :icon17:

How far would you want them to extend? You might be able to take the stock brake pedal pad to a shop that could fabricate a thicker one out of rubber with the same backing to connect to the pedal assembly.

Maybe an inch on both? That alone would help me a bit. I do want to look into swapping in a touring seat for the driver side. I could see perfectly in Mike's Z on the track.

Ran for a little bit last night. It's tough when you have to start building up stamina again. I felt so stupid only being able to run for a little bit... but oh well, gotta start somewhere.

Gonna start some other stuff tonight. No gym, just things I can do at home like push-ups, crunches, etc.

hell yea man.. I did all kinds of ab work outs and pushups at home.. or at work.

and I suck at running...

You won't pay a few hundred dollars more for better tires (if you had 19s), but you'll upgrade to touring seats? :icon17:

I'm just hoping I can keep motivated and actually do these challenges I've set up.

Friends that are into all this have told me that if I even did a little bit I could easily get a "chiseled" look, because my body fat % is so low.

I don't want to get big, just a defined/tone look. And to just be in better shape.

This...

I've actually been doing crunches while I'm on my inversion table (almost daily). I can typically do hundreds of sit ups, but working against gravity, I'm plenty sore before I even reach 100. However, my best results come from strict portion control when eating.

Yeah. I plan to run 3x a week until I build up my stamina and get my knees used to the pounding, because they tend to hurt really bad after running.

Then I'm going to try and do daily push-ups, crunches, wall squats (helps my legs, but super hard because I have scar tissue fighting me), and some work on my triceps.

And, one of the biggest things - I'm trying to drink more water. Trying for 2 litres/day.

don't be afraid to do eliptical one day, track/street the next.. treadmill the third day.. also, vary your run... do like a set distance with no time limit.... next time run for any distance with a set time limit.. then do a 1.5 mile run as fast as possible(under 15 minutes) and then walk for 15

I drink about 4-5 50oz bottles a day

Well, I don't have any of that equipment, lol.

As for running, I can only run for a min. distance right now. No where near even a 1/4mi yet. :icon17:

It will take a few weeks to build up my lungs.

LMBmikeZ 07-03-2013 11:16 AM

Haboob - if your currently drinking <2L of water a day you must dry to the bone! 2L Hoyle he a minimum intake for someone. People need to drink less pop, juice, coffee, tea or whatever else you are drinking instead of water.

If water tasted good, I'd drink more of it, but it tastes like **** (anything from tap to expensive bottled water), so I don't. :icon17:

Your body gets most of its water from food and such anyways, so to say I am intaking < 2L is most likely incorrect.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether they just haven't updated the schedule or whether that link was only for the Austin event. I think Mike has the best solution: join a local Z club. Nissan contacted them first to spread the word.

That would be awesome!

You don't have to be active. Just be on their member list. Then you should be notified if Nissan contacts those clubs. I would also be registered on the Nismo Performance Academy website as well just in case.
