According to my business card:
Senior GIS Cartographer

Which means nothing really, I just manage the drafting department of a survey company (technically not a manager since I work and go to school). Though I handle the IT, new products, and making the company more organized and efficient.

I do land and mineral title work for oil companies, basically I sit at a computer or in a courthouse reading over land deeds and other documents tracing out ownership of surface and or minerals for property anywhere in the USA.

Cool! I'm a journeyman lineman. 22 years old. No Z yet though.

It's a great job. You get to do and see some cool stuff. Not to mention you can work just about anywhere in the country. Lineman seem to be in pretty high demand right now.

That's true, but those people generally don't make near enough money to buy a $30k-$40k car in their first 5 years. I know, I've been there.

I just read thru the entire thread and have come to the conclusion that all Engineers think alike on auto preferences. BEE myself, though unused at the moment. Taking this Military Job to retirement, then possibly using the degree.

also see a lot of college students majoring in Engineering.

Nice to see Law Enforcement that appreciate the z for what it is too.

And a lot of military and retired mil. too...
