U.S. Army Sergeant. I pretty much un-f__k things when they go wrong. Wish they would listen to me in the beginning. Should get better once I get promoted.

I can only guess a few places in NM that you'd be working at. And I've probably driven by them all.

I work P3s almost every day here. They come out of Whidbey Island. An A6 makes an appearance once a week or so as well.

Sweet, the plane isn't that exciting but when you are in it doing the missions and watching over your brothers and sisters on the ground, it makes you feel much better knowing that you're keeping them informed and safe. Not a bad gig.=)

Worst place on Earth. If hell actually ever does freeze over, it'd look a lot like Fort Drum in December/January.

I was Air Force weather and my first assignment was Ft Drum! Thankfully at the last minute I was changed to Holloman AFB in New Mexico and then I went to Yokota and Camp Zama.

IMWEZL 03-14-2010 04:15 AM

CPT in the Army. Basically I BS all day...j/k.

Heading to Korea with the Z :)

Lemers 03-14-2010 09:36 AM

You can call BS all day. It still doesn't change the fact that I an a CPT.

Lemers 03-14-2010 09:41 AM

Oh taking the Z to Korea. Well if you're mil there was a rank limit for drivers so before you take it and can't drive it make sure you meet the requirement. Also driving is a little nerve racking overthere. Highways can be fast but off the highways and it's always bumper to bumper. And LNs will change lanes in a heartbeat with nothing more than a quick honk of the horn it let you know.

IMWEZL 03-14-2010 03:54 PM

Yes I am a CPT in the Army and I BS for most of the day. LOL!

I just came out of command and now work with a bunch of people that I have known for almost three years. That's why work is kinda easy.

I learned how to drive in NYC so hopefully that will help out.

Lemers 03-14-2010 04:07 PM

Ok speed reding fail. Thought you called bs on me. So bs stands for bogus staff

Sscottfitz 03-14-2010 04:39 PM

OK, now you two CPT's have "measured each other" -- couple of thoughts/comments...

1) Thank you both for your current service -- your service gives the rest of us the ability to "BS" in great forums like "THE370Z.COM"!!!

2) IMWZEL -- I'd agree with Lemers (I was station in ROK from '98-'00, and travel there routinely in my current life) -- unless you have no other options, I'd put your Z in storage, do your tour in Korea, and return back to the states to a great and like new 370Z -- unless you are going to be stationed down south (Daegu, etc.) the driving in Korea simply put -- SUCKS! Besides, as a CPT, your gonna be so busy, you won't have time to drive your car.

Just some unsolicited thoughts -- regardless of your choice -- best of luck and thanks again for your service!
