Default Hate a dirty Z

I have to take the Z to the dealership tomorrow to get the steering wheel lock replaced. The weather turned nasty today, so the z is covered in water spots and tree debris. I have no chance to clean the car before going. Similar to going on a date after wrenching on car all day in the same clothes without a shower.
Feel like ****.
Do any of you feel that way when she is riding dirty?

All went well with the electronic Steering wheel lock installation. I had them learn my new TPMS sensors and add a keyfob, which only cost $100.

Got to drive the new all-electric leaf and a new Armada.

i think i know EXACTLY how you feel. that's another reason why i hate taking my car to the dealership. dealing with the irresponsible porters and idiot techs (at times) scratching up my spotless car is bad enough...yet, now you got weather and birdshit to worry about

Yup. I would think that a tech might assume you don't care about your car enough to clean it, so why should he care about your car?

About the only good thing with having a silver Z is the crud doesn't show as bad. Lately it seems the only time it get's washed is when it rains and I'm half tempted to throw some soap on it during the next thunderstorm.
