for me, pictures are great for formal events. i personally like short video clips more. kids speak (make noise) and move around quick and in their funny ways so it's great to capture that. i find myself enjoying my kids' video clips more than picts. i only use a cheapo blog camera or my droid to take like 15sec clips to about 5min.

thanks to mr.gale, im using imovie to edit my clips on my MBP. super easy!

lol! my backup swaybars is shiny. lol im pretty picky myself on my hobby stuff so presents are usually either tools or gift cards.

i dont like getting stuff like HU's from family because it has sentimental value and i can't sell it when im done with the car. i prefer tools which i can keep forever.

this reminds me of when i was working on something under the steering column on my dd. i was stuck there in a weird positions and couldn't get out... well, until wife came to the garage and said 'kensan, pizza's ready' and i was out and about immediately. yummy
