We may be getting evacuated from our building.

Don't know why. There's a lot of rumors, since the Arias trial is happening right here and such, but most likely it's just a drill.

Seems they'll do anything to prevent us from seeing daylight.

No windows.

Fire? Bomb threat? Zombies? Keep them inside with a constant message blaring, "Please prepare for evacuation."

Then it turns off.

They aren't required to get you to safety. Only to have systems in place to alert you to potential danger. So they're complying with code.

They tell us we can't leave when that message comes on.

We always have to wait until someone (I don't know who, probably a little office gnome) tells us whether we need to leave the building or go back to work. I think they're back there flipping a coin and nothing is ever really wrong.

Hell, UPS rejected a package from us and instead of bringing it into our lobby and telling us, they threw it under a stairway.

Someone called in a suspicious package and the bomb squad apparently showed up - never had a warning, no evacuation.

I feel safe.

im real glad i just got the low-end nikon. i was thinking about getting real nice one and just use it forever, but it would've just been collecting dust forever.

they have silo's in middle of pheonix?

I want a Canon T3i myself. But I don't think I'll use it to its full capabilities, so I look at just a T3, but everyone who's had one says its T3i or

When I was little and we would go on drives through the country, and with my interest in military/space/history of the cold war and what not, I really thought those were missle silo's. I didn't know there were other kinds of silo's at the time. It made sense considering the massive arms race, they had to have somewhere to put them all...

huh, i dont know much about cameras really. i have that low-end nikon one which i dont even remember the model number.

but never know.... during the cold war, what might've looked innocent could well have been missle silo's.
