Just my exhaust.

I'll have a listen on my drive home and see.

Maybe it's that ECU whine people have been talking about? Or a speaker is blown (or close to)?

does that sound like a crt (old tube tv)? if so, you might have the high pitched whine from the ECU.

Cali is a nice place to visit. I wouldn't want to live there. But I'm way far away (30mi) from downtown Phoenix, where I work. I hate it.

Not yet. I haven't had much time. I may try today, if not I'll have to leave it to the weekend.

ahh, thanks for the info. that sucks you cant just turn the darn thing...humm...

if you have an app that can measure frequency on your phone you might be able to capture which frequencity that whine is. if not, use a tuner app and see if you can match the pitch. then go up an octave or two and find the frequency.

do you know what bandwidth your mats can contain sound? im not sure if it goes up that high...

is your 30min commute like through a pretty rural area? my commute is like 25min but round trip is less than 25miles.

GL adjusting the hanger height. should be an easy fix.

Nope, it's all boring freeway. 30 miles takes about 35min. Boring drive, looking at taillights.

I couldn't really afford another car payment (or constant repairs on a used one).

I'm thinking of renting my house out and getting a condo downtown, as they give us free lightrail & bus passes... so I could do that, or if I'm close enough I could walk/ride a bike.

my commute? 45mi. One way. Takes me an hour. I only see about 10 cars in the morning, see probably half that many critters scurrying around.
